5. The General Objectives and Materials:

The course is designed to provide the students with the knowledge of the concept and the use of English for specific Purposes, for example; communication in science and technology, with the skill to teach this type of English.
The materials of the course will be discussing the definition and the concept of ESP, the approaches and the procedures in ESP design, and the materials design used to teach ESP.

9. The Evaluation System:
A = Assignment scores
Q = Quiz scores
M = Middle test score
F = Final test score
The Final Score = { ( 4 x A+Q ) + ( 2 x M ) + ( 4 x F ) } : 10

The Grade Intervals:
A ≥ 90; AB = 80 - 89; B = 70 - 79
BC = 60 - 69; C = 50 - 59; D = 40 - 49 è E≤ 39
NOTE: Attendance ≥ 60 % of the total meetings
